The 2010 Festival was a hugh success with large audiences each evening.

Our thanks to all the musicians who contributed to producing a magical experience for the enthusiastic Festival audience.

Four hundred and eighty local schoolchildren set the scene, on Tuesday, with a rousing reception for the 18th Century Concert Orchestra, appearing in period costume.  

Wonderful solo performances by Colin Lawson, Anthony Robson, Christophe Coin, Simon Standage, Roger Montgomer, Nick Benz, Andrew Skidmore, Mark Baigent and Andrew Crawford. With superb chamber music by the Salomon Quartet, the English Haydn Quartet, the London Serenade and the Christophe Coin Trio.

Excellent musical direction by Anthony Halstead, Anthony Robson and John Moore.

The Festival Directors welcomed the attendance of the Austrian Ambassador Emil Brix and his attachee at Robbins Landon's Memorial Concert.
